Overview
This case study provides an overview of how flood, drought, and wildfire interact and impact each other in an event cascade.
The Case Study
In this project, we treat flood, drought, and wildfire as independent and isolated hazards. We assume that the likelihood and impact of a hazard is unrelated to the occurrence of other hazards. Often, different hazards and their impacts can be correlated. This concept is known as hazard interaction, when one hazard affects the likelihood or impact of another.
