Facilitating Local Resilience Networks and Communications

The CRO works to build an ongoing network of resilience leaders across Colorado through peer exchanges. These exchanges aim to continue the conversations and momentum for those who have participated in CRO-led workshops such as Camp Resilience, as well as open the dialogue up to local government leaders and partners who are advancing resilience issues on the ground.

We are happy to support you and your community! Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Peer Exchanges

The Colorado Resiliency Office has led and facilitated “Peer Exchanges” to bring together Colorado communities recovering from disasters and taking proactive measures to build resilience. These virtual meetings and list-servs foster discussion and collaboration across Colorado. The success of these programs were first felt through a COVID Recovery Peer Exchange, then a 2020 Wildfire Recovery Peer Exchange that went on for four years, and finally through our Resiliency Roadmaps Program which focused on rural, regional networks.

The CRO now also facilitates an ongoing, online forum through the “Colorado Resilience Community of Practice” – a private LinkedIn Group that is open to practitioners and researchers that are advancing resilience or sustainability here in Colorado. This forum provides two-way communication and discussions on timely resilience topics that compliment our monthly CRO Newsletters.

Find out more about current peer exchanges and reach out to Marguerite Harden, Local Resilience Manager, to suggest other topics.
