Roadmap Program
COVID-19 represents one of the greatest disruptions of our lifetimes, requiring communities to partner across jurisdictional boundaries in order to effectively respond to change and elevate community assets to solve shared problems. We are excited to offer communities an opportunity to work together to support diversifying and strengthening their economies while building your region’s resiliency.
The Roadmaps Program brought together 16 Regional Community Teams made up of over 150 rural jurisdictions, in addition to non-governmental partners. Launch the Resiliency Roadmap Final Report for a complete summary of the program and outcomes.

Get Involved
The goals and strategies in each region are forward-thinking and ambitious, requiring organizational and community support. Please email either the Roadmaps Program Manager, Marguerite Harden, at marguerite.harden@state.co.us or reach out directly to the contact listed for your region on the RoadMaps StoryMap.
We envision that by identifying, including, and serving disproportionately impacted and socially or economically disadvantaged groups through the Roadmaps Program, these populations will be less vulnerable and less impacted during future shocks and stressors. We are taking an inclusive approach to the Roadmaps planning process and we encourage community organizations to get involved in their region and/or in the planning process across regions.
The Western San Luis Valley Team met in November 2022 to share their Roadmap strategies and progress with partners.
Community leaders meet in Burlington, Colorado to workshop strategies during the Resilience Roadmaps process.
